Hey there, this is Carlos Larsen, I’m happy that you landed on my “about me” section probably because you’re looking for some inspiration, want to follow in someone else’s footsteps or just want to get to know me better.
Back in high school I got myself the nicknames “lanky” and “chicken legs”. The kids called me that right through out school, even at the different high schools that I went to. It’s like all the bullies had telepathy or something, at every high school I went to eventually I landed those same nicknames again. No I didn’t move around to different schools because I got picked on and shoved around at every single one, my parents just moved around a lot, but don’t ask me why. I haven’t really figured that out even to this day. I think they just liked to move around.
I hated being skinny! I didn’t get treated with much respect; no one ever really listened to me. I didn’t look forward to when gym class came around and I had to take my shirt off in the change rooms in front of all the other bigger guys. I guess I felt the same pain as you would if you were chubby and too embarrassed to take your shirt off. If you’re skinny or chubby, I know your pain.
Not only did I weigh a measly 140 pounds but I was also 6 feet tall, I’m now 6’3. So now you know why I got the nickname “lanky”. Tall + Skinny = Lanky
Just like you, I wanted everything I thought I couldn’t have with the skinny body I had. All the bigger and more tougher guys than me had all the girls just flock to them and all the girls ever did was call my legs “chicken legs”. I began to get more self conscious of myself and I eventually got really shy to even talk to these girls, they were starting to think I was one of the “weird” guys. They were always going out to parties on the weekend and having a great time, when most of the time I got left out.
So I was fed up with it all, I wanted to change, I wanted to gain lots of muscle and get just as big as the other guys at school, so no one could call me “lanky” anymore.
I went online and did some research. I found that a lot of the information out there was kind of conflicting with each other. Some information told me to follow the training guide of PRO bodybuilders while others told me that it was a waste of time because they are not training with the average person’s body in mind, they were training like champion bodybuilders who used steroids and dangerous substances.
I didn’t want to go down that route and have needle scars all over my arms and butt. Thankfully there was one website that really caught my eye. It caught my eye because it talked about the bodybuilding conspiracy and how what you read and see in all of the magazines is just hyped up with training that is suitable for people who want to pump themselves full of supplements and not for the average person. It shocked me when I learned that all of the supplement companies all own the bodybuilding magazines, no wonder you see supplement ads on almost every page of those things. It struck home after I did some digging of my own.
That website was of course Vince Delmonte’s No Nonsense Muscle Building. After following through his guide for only couple of weeks I packed on around 5 pounds of lean muscle! This is what began to change my life forever. Today I’m a solid 200 pounds; my self esteem has shot right up. I’ve got the confidence I never had back in high school. I can now walk down the street and know that I can comfortably smile and say hello to any beautiful woman that passes me by. I feel like I owe it to Vince for changing my whole life, which is also why I want to help transform your body and everyone else’s who wants to either cut down or bulk up. I want to follow in Vince’s footsteps and help all of the skinny or chubby guys who need my help. I want to see my blog filled up with my own success stories from the people who I have personally helped.
Quickly back to the girls at school, I went back to the same state where one of my old schools was. I’ll never forget the day when I was on a bus into town and saw one of the girls who used to call my legs “chicken legs” get on the bus and begin walking toward the back where I was sitting. I caught her eye and her face started to blush as she looked all surprised seeing me after so long. We both had a memory blank and forgot each other’s names. So after asking each other’s names again we got talking and joked about how she used to call my legs “chicken legs” I felt quite confident in myself and body that it didn’t bother me one bit. I asked her if there were any party’s on over the weekend and of course there were, she was one of the most popular girls in school. So off I went to the party and caught up with the rest of the girls from school. You should have seen the look on their faces when their eyes landed on mine.
You can imagine just how ecstatic I felt. Seeing these girls again, the girls I was too afraid to talk to, in the same room as me, with shocked looks on their faces, yeah.
Just some general stuff about me, I love to travel, one day I’m defiantly going to make it to Brazil, have you seen how beautiful the women over there are!? I can’t get enough of trance music, Tiesto is my favorite, but some other artists like Thrill Seekers are starting to come close, I’m listening to them right now.
So that’s my story, I would love to hear some of your story, maybe one day I will be a part of it.
Look forward to speaking with you in the comments.
